Dikar wanted to do a Promy run every Friday until they are done, let's see how well I can arrange one.

This Friday, May 9, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time will be the gathering time. Meet in Ru'Lude Gardens. To try and make things nice and smooth, gathering time hopefully will mean Log In, Gear Up, and Form a Party. Not "Oh hey, what all do I have to do to go?"

If you are interested in doing Promyvion-Holla here are the instructions:
1. Promyvion and the Empty Notorious Monster Area/Boss Area have a level 30 Cap, make sure none of your equipment is above 30.
note: The level cap is temporarly removed while in the spire just before the boss fight for ease of healing and raising.
2. If you have never been to a Promy before, either look at the Promy Guide in the Adventuring Section of this forum or go to FFXIclopedia and go through the first 2 Chains of Promathia Missions.
note: You must have the Chains of Promathia Expansion installed and registered to participate.
3. Items that you should try to get a hold of before Friday are as follows:

Hysteroanima - Stops Boss from using TP Attacks for about half a minute
Psychoanima - Stops Boss from using Physical Attacks for about half a minute
Terronanima - Makes the Boss run away from whoever has the most hate for half a minute (note: kinda hard to hit moving targets, this one is iffy on it's usefulness)
Poison Potion - Barsleep isn't enough, this will counter AoE Sleep
Holy Water - Cures the HP lowering Curse the Boss likes to use
Bad Food - Optional but encouraged for Tanks to have debuffs as the Boss wil steal buffs and why not have him steal something harmful (note: if you have no buffs, he drains a nice cunk of HP)

So there's your To-Do List for Friday. Get some Lvl30 Gear, watch some cutscenes, get a few items, and post below if you're coming and with what job combination so that we can start planning the parties.

A note on party formation, a full Alliance of 18 can get through Promy, but only one party of 6 can fight the Boss. We need to balance all 3 parties or some people that are either great healers or damage dealers need to be ready to fight twice.
